Biography
Chad is an urban designer born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Tulane University. Following his education, Chad was appointed by Mayor Mitch Landrieu as an Urban Designer in the Office of Place-Based Planning, a dedicated design team within the mayor’s office. This group was established to offer design guidance for the extensive capital investments required to rebuild the city in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Since then, Chad has leveraged his design expertise to support a variety of municipalities, contributing significantly to their development initiatives. His work includes capital project design, where he has helped shape projects that enhance urban environments. He also conducts thorough project and program reviews, ensuring that each initiative aligns with community goals and best practices.
Additionally, Chad is actively involved in numerous boards and committees, where he collaborates with stakeholders across sectors to drive community improvement and foster innovative urban planning solutions. Through these efforts, he continues to strengthen the fabric of communities and improve the quality of life for residents.
Chad enjoys spending time in nature, photography, and writing in his spare time. He also taught his cat, Possum, how to hike and they travel and enjoy many outdoor adventures together.
